High-Performance Silicone Emulsion Antifoam

Antifoam 1572 is a high-performance silicone emulsion antifoam designed for rapid foam knockdown and persistent foam suppression in agricultural formulations and tank-mix applications. It helps minimize foam-related interruptions during manufacturing, filling, packaging and field application.

Coatings & Inks
General-Purpose Waterborne Defoamer
Polyether-modified silicone defoamer for general waterborne coatings. Provides strong dynamic defoaming, broad compatibility and excellent air release.
Best suited for: General waterborne coatings, wood coatings, industrial paints and overprint varnishes.
Typical dosage: 0.10–0.50% of total formulation.
High-Performance Microfoam Defoamer
Modified silicone defoamer optimized for acrylic and PU systems. Particularly suited to airless spray and enhanced microfoam elimination.
Best suited for: Pure acrylic emulsions, styrene-acrylic systems, polyurethane dispersions and high-viscosity coatings.
Typical dosage: 0.10–0.50% of total formulation.
Silicone-Free Mineral-Oil Defoamer
Mineral-oil-based defoamer for water-based architectural coatings, inks and latex adhesive systems. Provides broad-spectrum defoaming for both large and small bubbles while offering good compatibility and storage stability.
Best suited for: Water-based architectural coatings, high-PVC coatings, water-based inks, latex adhesives, and systems containing calcium carbonate and talc.
Typical dosage: 0.2–0.6% of total formulation.
Modified Mineral-Oil-Based Defoamer
Modified mineral-oil-based copolymer defoamer designed for acrylic coating systems. Provides fast bubble breaking, particularly effective against fine bubbles, while also providing a wetting effect.
Best suited for: Pure acrylic coatings, styrene-acrylic coatings, acetate-acrylic coatings and High-gloss coating systems.
Typical dosage: 0.03–0.20% of finished paint.
