  • High-PVC coatings

Key Features and Benefits

Applications and benefits

  • Broad-spectrum defoaming, eliminating both large and small bubbles.
  • Excellent performance in systems containing coarse fillers such as calcium carbonate and talc powder.
  • Silicone-free; does not cause silicone pollution, affect recoating, or interfere with adhesion.
  • Good storage stability; not easily delaminated or precipitated at low temperatures.
  • Compared with ordinary mineral-oil defoamers, provides a lower risk of paint-film defects.

Dosage and Addition

  • Excellent compatibility, allowing the defoamer to be added later to the finished product with much lower

risk than ordinary mineral-oil defoamers.

  • Can be added directly to the original solution, or pre-mixed with a small amount of water before addition.

Use levels, packaging, and storage

  • Recommended dosage: 0.2%–0.6% based on the total mass of the formulation.
  • Initial test starting point: 0.5%.
  • Recommended addition: Two-stage addition.

Grinding stage: Add 50% of the total dosage to suppress the generation of microbubbles during dispersion and

pulping.

Paint mixing/discharging stage: Add the remaining 50% to eliminate bubbles generated later in the process.
